Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 期待了大半年的聖誕節終於來到了，這個月適逢 Term Break，我們有很多豐富節目，可以破哂紀錄係咁見！ ❤️

Our Play Field

想不到 倫敦可以看到 「雲門舞集」的演出！舞者狂野的身體，搭配冰島Sigur Rós的音樂，真是美滿的晚上!

大學讀書時林懷民先生來中大博群演講「在水泥地上種花」，分享創立「雲門舞集」那時代的困難與意義。那時第一次認識台灣呢個咁了不起的現代舞舞團。其後去過池上旅行，見到很多舞團在稻田跳舞的漂亮照片。能看到佢哋 Halo Lunar 作品，也算是種朝聖吧，份外感動。幾位舞者的肢體充滿力量，在Sigur Rós的音樂和燈光襯托，展現電子世界為人類帶來的狂喜與迷失。最喜歡開場時七位一體的人形蜈蚣和結尾黃燈下的獨舞，欣賞舞者細緻淋漓的身體駕馭能力之餘，也一路帶著個情緒滑進去，睇到眼濕濕。演出唯一美中不足是台上的巨型電子螢幕壞了其中三塊，中段舞者和Big data big boss的互動打了些折扣。>.<

也看到了 Marina Abramović 在London的回顧展。
甫進場就是Marina 與舊情人 Ulay 相望而笑的經典畫面。他倆在七八十年代用身體創作過很多瘋狂的行為藝術作品，更原先打算到萬里長城徒步到中心點就結婚。但待北京發批文時，他們已經分手。那個作品還是做了：1989年由長城兩端各自起步。在中心點相遇，碰肩，道別，然後相忘。再會已是2010年的紐約，Ulay到Marina”The Artist is Present”的行為藝術作品，坐在她對面，一別廿年重逢，成就了這雋永。

現場也有不同 Artist的作品重現，最難忘應該是拖著你的手穿越一男一女裸著身體的表演者～

今個月謝謝你為我和朋友帶來很多快樂，意想不到可以把香港我最要好的朋友醫生介紹到俾你識～ 一起逛逛相展、吃吃飯咁～

和可愛的Lina和Ron一起派對，Anthony, 書生, Johnny, Kylie, Louis, Sunny一大堆土瓜灣的朋友仔

聚會中航拍機和攝影機都大派用場

終於有機會見到Polly同Geoffrey！由言傳到變成活生生一起打邊爐同食茶餐廳的Friends

有你這個可愛的伴侶，真幸福 <3

聚會可以把我們帶到Tooting、Sheffield、Leicester一些平常不會去的地方

你的駕駛也越來越純熟，成功完成200km一程的長征

我們交替著駕駛，輕鬆愉快一起走更遠的旅程～

今個月的最精華應該是期待已久的布拉格 Trip 吧！

今次布拉格之旅帶着一份期待，同你看布拉格嘅聖誕市集，更重要是朝聖我曾經深深拜服的劇作家/捷克前總統哈維爾的城市。

凌晨一點我就揸車去接你，的確勾起咗細個天黑出門遠行嘅記憶吧，心情特別興奮。

當然下次可以買大約八點嘅飛機票咁樣去程嘅時候就冇咁辛苦又可以天黑起身，但係就唔會凌晨晨咁早就出車。

我哋飛嘅係W I ZZ航空公司之前喺買票嘅時候票價嘅浮動令我哋覺得呢架原價航空公司有好多蠱惑嘅地方，所以我哋都不敢怠慢預鬆咗好多時間。好彩過程都比想像中順利，而且又遇到貴人，指示我哋泊車去一個靠近巴士站上車地方嘅位置。

成個城市好靚，每一棟建築物都好有歷史嘅感覺

我哋成日喺城堡嘅山上面同埋沿Vlatava呢條河放無人機，天氣出奇地好，影嘅風景都非常之靚。 例如爆上最美Starbucks後面嘅草地飛～

最難忘應該係黃金小巷外我地放完機俾警察叔叔捉，好彩你轉數快，話係男朋友送嘅聖誕禮物，係試下飛姐 （雖被馬上識穿已飛了幾轉 :P），警察也放過我們了～

有很多意想不到的偶遇～ 例如Charles Bridge上為我們拍照的小哥、開廿四小時等著我們去的薑餅店、哈維爾和Dancing Houses的關係、還有你找到的local農產品週六市集～

美麗的聖誕市集、教堂、玻璃、博物館、書店唱片舖

在哈維爾圖書館看了變形記和The Estates Theatre看了CherryMan。

可能感覺有點悶的，謝謝你陪我！

荒誕劇本來也不是我喜歡的戲種，年初時看了周冠威的一人婚禮不太懂欣賞，不過現在經細味，也感在荒謬和無意義的世度裡，這種瘋狂是一種宣洩。

也試了很多美食，首先是Beef他他～ Deer薄肉片～

捷克斯洛伐克八道菜的Tasting Menu~ 同事介紹那越南菜～ 日本嘢～

帶上飛機食的美味豬手～

仲有捷克大家樂，感覺就好似東歐嘅工廠放飯咁樣食即係簡單嘅肉食同薯仔咁樣，仲飲咗捷克嘅啤酒呢度啤酒偏淡非常之易，果次食完之後我好眼瞓直接坐喺個位度就瞓着咗。

住宿的地方樓底好高，我地都玩咗4日有趣一部份一部份解鎖的Game，你仲教咗我煮好多野～

Over the christmas，可以請到你黎sleepover，有好多機會再鍛練～

終於有機會帶你見識我阿爸的迪士尼，哈哈

發現原來你咁鍾意食響鈴卷，又一齊發明咗健康的湯底

喺屋企打著邊爐，Review 2023年，聊著聊著就迎上2024年～

    1. Leaving Hong Kong – executed after 3.5 years of anticipation & Moving to the UK – my second life begins
    2. Meeting Kris – my perfect partner
    3. Several memorable Gestalt therapy sessions helped me resolve my bitterness towards goodbyes
    4. Securing 2-year extra funding for WOW Project before I leave the job and ensured its sustainability
    5. Got featured at local Catholic News with my experience at Olallo
    6. Getting the driving license, and the high living quality, freedom and opportunities to assist my friend that came along it
  • Gratitude: What are you most grateful for in 2023? Think about people, experiences, or opportunities that enriched your life.
    1. Thank you for my parents who gave me a comfortable head-start in life and adjustment to new country
    2. Kris brought me countless unexpected fun, games, experiences and opportunities
    3. Thank you for all my friends that love me, care about me and support me during my time in HK and here
    4. Carman for opening my doors for me, and my colleagues here in the UK that took me in with welcoming hands
    5. My room and my home at Royal Ascot, it was a very comfortable home
    6. The books I had for two decades, and gave away to 我的書房
    7. My residents that trusted and liked me, MAO, YX, RZT, AD, HS…
  • Challenges Overcome: What were the biggest challenges or obstacles you faced in 2023? How did you overcome them, and what did you learn from these experiences?
    1. Really broke up from the last relationship, and handled it with very little distress to my mental health and life. No distructive fire-fighting. Just pure gratitude, and let go.
      Trust that good things would come, and greater things did come.
    2. Have to live with my parents, so far so good.
    3. Coming to a New Country, adjusting well with the support of family, a secured relationship, a job, multiple great art performances. I just enjoy the process and be where I want to be.
  • Professional or Academic Growth: How did you progress in your career or studies in 2023? What were the key learnings and how have they shaped your future aspirations?
    1. I consider I got a very smooth transition at the UK
    2. I am happy with leaving as a Team Leader at HK
    3. Getting new Social Worker license in the UK (wish I started my application slightly earlier)
  • Growth and Development In what ways have you grown or changed as a person over the past year? Consider changes in your beliefs, attitudes, and heaviours.
    1. Better son. More caring towards my family
    2. Better friend. Give more support to friends
    3. More acceptance towards loss, and how to make meaning from loss
    4. Becoming more disciplined and productive, neat and tidy, sharing household chores
    5. Started going to gym, overcoming the fear of faint, and started with running then new stuff like machine training muscles and squatting
  • ❌ Unfulfilled Aspirations: Were there goals or aspirations you had for 2023 that you did not achieve? Reflect on why they were not met and how you feel about it.
    1. I failed the team leader promotion;
      Maybe I did not prepare enough but more it is the environment and timing of what they are looking for.
      But I feel it would just made me progress quicker and easier back to my professional

  • Looking Forward: Based on your experiences in 2023, what would you like to do differently in 2024? Are there new areas you’d like to explore or changes you want to make?1. More habits, do better housework and maintaining tidiness and cleanliness

    2. Get more local knowledge towards law and social systems, getting ready for new social work profession

    3. Less blockage and be more open towards my parents and friends
